| Agriculture is a complex and
dynamic business. This is partially due to the fact that it requires working and
interacting with natural systems. As such, it is always changing and the challenges of one
production year are rarely the same as for the next. Some of the factors that must be taken into account by ag operators include: weather, markets, regulations and public policy, as well as larger changes in societal values and moves toward a more global economy. While we may not always be able to do what we like to influence these factors and forces, to pretend that they do not exist is also unrealistic. |
